Namudola Hadija

“I’m glad my business has grown and am able to send all my children to school and take care of my unwell husband”
Namudola says.

"Started doing business in 2012, selling maize and gonja, by the roadside in Nansana (Kampala), later elevated to selling fresh Irish potatoes. Her spouse suffered a stroke which left him bed ridden for 8 months. Along with her seven children, Namudola was unable to take care of both the children and her husband, while relying only on the small scale business.

Months later, she was able to access an unsecure loan from CETAFI which saw her get into a newer and bigger business. The business since been boosted by unsecured loan received from CETAFI in partnership with Maneni Instant Credit for working capital of 1M from 200,000. She is now able her to purchase at least 10bags of Irish where she makes a profit of UGX 10,000 from each bag per day.

Her dream is to grow her business to over 10Million and be able to sponsor all her children through school.
