Our training covers the key components of financial
literacy focusing on; personal finacial management,Saving,budgting, Investing,credit managment,
entrepreneurship and planning for retirement.Such soft skills are foundational in improving and transforming livelihoods.
This involves equipping the population with elementary business management skills regardless of one’s
enterprise area of interest. These include; keeping business records, operations management/Human resource,
basic accounting, technology, marketing and customer service.
Through a learner-centered approach, we guide each person on the available and market-oriented enterprises.
We commit resources to enterprises which not only guarantee employability, but thrive in a volatile market.
For $9 monthly per business, CETAFI supports the owners to understand their business performance using a simple business management system Sun Details that enables the daily tracking of revenues and expenses real-time. This has helped to minimize traditional paper-based bookkeeping which is susceptible to losses & damages. Through tracking of their business performance, the business owners are empowered to make informed business decisions hence improving their business management.
This system can be accessed on... a mobile phone which makes it convenient for business owners on the go; for example, when they are purchasing new items away from their business premises, using the revenue and expense reports, the entrepreneur will in an instance know whether their business is profit / loss making or at breakeven.
As CETAFI we recognize the need and the role of coaches and mentors in people’s growth. Upon completion of the above training, trainees are attached to purposely-selected coaches and mentors to deepen their knowledge in their enterprises of choice. These coaches and mentors also help to link the trainees to government and community resources.
this is customized to the beneficiary’s area of interest, primarily in line with employability and the ever-changing market trends; CETAFI does this in collaboration with different partner organizations involved in vocational skills development and enhancement.
